Tête-à-tête with Amit Suvarna 2.0 – India’s MSME Digital Marketing Guide.

His name is Amit Suvarna and the year was 2022 when Amit had embarked on a journey of change, of self realization. Is he a better version of myself in 2027 as he had envisioned then? “Perhaps”, he says with a questioning smile, “one’s own perspective can be fundamentally flawed. But I have made some improvements, of that I can be certain.”

Today Amit Suvarna is a rising digital marketing guide (who is also a digital nomad) with a happy MSME client base, students and massive following on social channels like Youtube and Linkedin. In 2021, things were different. Life had entrapped him in its flow and he had surrendered to its current. While change, he was aware, is a constant in life, Amit was resistant to its machinations. He expresses sincere gratitude to his mentors who egged him on. “It is thanks to them that I stand blessed, motivated, and truly content. I can’t express it in words. The only way I can thank my mentors is by paying it forward with everything I do.”

As a successful coach, author, consultant, and entrepreneur in the digital marketing sphere, Amit has been able to pivot 1000s of micro, small and medium business owners to chart their journeys of marketing creativity and abundance. We spoke to a few and the theme was consistent – extraordinary value and simple yet actionable models to achieve marketing excellence for sustainable and scalable business.

He speaks highly of the MSME community and their role in India’s path to being a developed nation. “MSME contribution to the Indian Economy is significant. Not only do they give a boost to employment, standard of living and taxes, but also to business innovation and equitable distribution of national income and wealth. It is in the country’s best interest to help MSMEs put their best foot forward, so they can stand with pride besides their global peers. And that is my mission – to educate and accelerate MSMEs with accessible, approachable and inexpensive marketing and sales education.”

This mission is shared by his small team of crazy doers who are also digital nomads. While physically apart, the team functions as one mighty organism, focussed on living its mission with integrity and passion.

Apart from business, Amit considers it his absolute privilege to help protect national biodiversities, regenerate forests and care for uncared animals in cities through various trusts and organizations. “I feel fortunate to have earned the time and respect to work at the grassroots and make changes we want to see on the one earth we have.” Amit responds. He also helps run a shelter for disadvantaged strays on the outskirts of Mumbai with his wife, Neha.

Amit feels fortunate to live a blessed life and says it is thanks to his life and business partner of 11 years. The pair are surrounded by their cats all over their small but comfortable home in the hills.

At 45, Amit feels there is still a lot more to do in the future. Perhaps it’s time to pen another mission for Amit Suvarna 3.0 for the next 5 years!
